About the estate
Founded in 1963, the Durfort la Cave estate is a cooperative winery located in the Gard department on the foothills of the Cévennes. Around one hundred members cultivate approximately 450 hectares of vineyards across a diverse geological landscape characterized by stony soils, marl, and limestone. The portfolio features wines from the AOC Duché d'Uzès and Cévennes IGP denominations, including varietal wines and blends made from traditional grapes such as Syrah, Grenache, Vermentino, and Viognier. The continental climate influence, marked by significant diurnal temperature variation, shapes the profile of the wines.
