Domaine Sainte Octime

About the estate

The Domaine Sainte Octime estate is located in Sardan within the Languedoc-Roussillon region on the foothills of the Cévennes. The property is managed by the sixteenth generation, Lionel Rampon, who oversees the 25 hectares of vineyards and vinifies all wines in the estate cellar. The clay-limestone soils are mechanically cultivated and managed with cover crops to support organic farming practices. Controlled yields and cool summer nights allow the vines, including Cabernet Sauvignon used for red wine production, to fully develop their aromatic potential. In addition to winemaking, the estate also offers guest accommodation in a holiday cottage.
