About the estate
The Domaine la Tour Vieille estate was founded in 1982 by Vincent Cantié in the heart of Collioure, and was later joined by Christine Campadieu. The winery cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards on steep terraced slopes with schist soils, which require exclusively manual labor. The grape variety portfolio features Grenache as the main variety, alongside Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Macabeu, and Roussanne. The production comprises dry wines of the Collioure appellation in three colors as well as sweet natural wines under the Banyuls denomination. Harvesting is done entirely by hand between late August and mid-September.
