About the estate
The Clos Saint Sébastien estate manages approximately twenty hectares of vineyards in Banyuls sur Mer in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The historical roots of viticulture in this area date back to the seventh century BC, while the estate's traditional main building was constructed in 1696. The wines are grown on schist soils in terraced vineyards along the Côte Vermeille between the Mediterranean Sea and the Albères mountains. The vineyards are planted with Grenache as the main grape variety, producing wines under the AOC Banyuls, AOC Collioure, Banyuls Grand Cru, and Côte Vermeille IGP denominations. In vineyard management and winemaking, the estate combines traditional craftsmanship with current agronomic and oenological knowledge.
