About the estate
The Domaine du Traginer estate was founded in 1975 by Jean-François Deu in Banyuls-sur-Mer and currently cultivates more than 18 hectares of vineyards. The region's schisty soils, marine air, and abundant sunshine shape this unique Mediterranean terroir. The vineyards are distributed across the seaside and the mountains, where the land is traditionally tilled using the area's last mules. The winery has operated under biodynamic methods since 1997 and belongs to the La Renaissance des Appellations association. Production includes the AOC Banyuls, AOC Banyuls Grand Cru, and AOC Collioure denominations.
