About the estate
The Domaine du Grand Jaure estate was acquired by the family in 1920 and has a long-standing history in the region. Today, the property encompasses a vineyard area of approximately 16 hectares situated on south and southwest-facing slopes in Lembras. On gravelly, clayey, and sandy-stony soils, the estate cultivates traditional red and white grape varieties to produce AOC wines such as Pécharmant and Rosette. Since 2018, the winery has been in conversion to organic farming, eliminating the use of chemical weed killers, fertilizers, and synthetic products. Vineyard management is carried out by a dedicated long-term team relying on meticulous canopy work and green harvesting to ensure optimal fruit quality.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
