About the estate

The Domaine de Saliès estate is situated in the Languedoc within a hilly landscape shaped by garrigue and pine woods. The property's origins date back to a Gallo-Roman villa, and the Gombert family has farmed the estate since the second half of the 20th century. Spanning 36 hectares of vineyards, the winery cultivates traditional regional varieties such as Grenache, Cinsault, and Carignan alongside southern grapes like Syrah, Viognier, and Mourvèdre. Additionally, varieties with more distant geographical origins such as Chardonnay and Malbec are grown on the terroir. Farming is conducted according to sustainable and reasoned agriculture principles, with vinification taking place in the original cellar built in 1870.
