Domaine de Ribonnet

About the estate

The Domaine de Ribonnet estate is located in Beaumont-sur-lèze in the Sud-Ouest region, encompassing 24 hectares of vineyards with a total of 14 cultivated grape varieties marketed under the Comte Tolosan IGP denomination. The history of the property is closely linked to the famous engineer Clément Ader, who shaped the estate at the beginning of the 20th century, before it was acquired by Christian Gerber in 1974. Christian Gerber converted the entire vineyard to organic farming in 2001 and initiated experimental plantings. In 2015, his son Simon Gerber took over management and implemented restructuring plans. The vineyards are spread across various sites with predominantly clay-limestone soils, benefiting from oceanic, Mediterranean, and Pyrenean influences.
