Château des Peyraux

About the estate

The Château des Peyraux estate is a small organic winery covering four hectares of vineyards in the Fronton appellation in Southwest France. The vineyards are situated on the second and third terraces of the Tarn river on poor Boulbènes soils interspersed with pebbles. The grape varieties include Syrah and Cabernet Franc alongside traditional and indigenous varieties such as Négrette, Duras, and Prunelart. The winery focuses on meticulous manual vineyard care, hand harvesting, and the production of natural wines without added sulfites. Vinification and ageing take place directly at the estate.
