About the estate
The Domaine Carcenac estate is located in Montans in southwestern France and looks back on a family history spanning more than seven generations. The winery cultivates one hundred hectares of vineyards, divided into eighty hectares of red varieties and twenty hectares of white varieties. The soils of the well-exposed vineyards comprise gravelly, clay-gravel, and clay-limestone terroirs. This diversity allows for the vinification of unique and characterful wines from local grape varieties. The portfolio includes wines from the AOC Gaillac, AOC Gaillac doux, and Comté Tolosan IGP appellations.
