About the estate
The family-run Domaine Bonian estate is located in Pouzolles in the Languedoc region and traces its history back to 1938, when the first parcels were acquired by Marcel Almes. Today, the winery is managed in the third generation by Alain Almes, who expanded the estate to 15 hectares. The vineyards are situated on clay-limestone soils enriched with sand and pebbles under a typical Mediterranean climate. The grape variety portfolio includes Muscat petit grains, Sauvignon, Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan. During cultivation, the owner focuses on low yields and environmentally friendly methods within an integrated pest management framework.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Carignan.
