About the estate
The wine estate Le Clos des Grives located in Chille in the Jura region is the first estate in the Jura certified organic by Ecocert since its foundation in 1968. The estate cultivates four hectares of vineyards in the AOC Côtes du Jura denomination and is listed in the directory of the CIVJ Vins du Jura consortium. Soil management relies strictly on organic terreaux alongside reduced quantities of copper and sulphur. Vinification of the five regional grape varieties takes place in the estate cellar following manual harvesting. The portfolio includes the five grape varieties Chardonnay and Savagnin for white wines as well as Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau for red wines.
