About the estate

The Clos de Vènes estate is located in Saint Couat d Aude within the Languedoc - Roussillon region and was founded in 2011 by Sylvie and Christophe Jacquel. The winery cultivates a terroir shaped by Mediterranean influences and the Montagne Noire using the grape varieties Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre, and Marsanne. Farming is conducted organically, and the wines are produced outside of the appellation framework. In the cellar, the estate relies on precise, plot-by-plot vinification and ages all cuvées in oak barrels. The resulting food-friendly wines are distributed internationally to fine dining establishments.
