About the estate

The Chateau de Mire l’Etang estate is located in Fleury d’Aude within the Languedoc-Roussillon region and benefits from a long wine-growing heritage. Following the acquisition of the property in 1972, the vineyards were completely restructured and now extend over approximately 50 hectares on stony limestone soils within the La Clape massif. The vines comprise varieties such as Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Syrah, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre. The winery is committed to sustainable farming methods under the Terra Vitis label, implementing mechanical weeding and reducing chemical inputs across the plots. The resulting wines reflect this unique Mediterranean terroir and carry the AOC La Clape and AOC Languedoc designations.
