About the estate
The Chateau de la Negly estate is situated in the Massif de La Clape within the Languedoc region, with historical roots tracing back to the eighteenth century. In 1992, the Paux-Rosset family took over the property and steered it towards a strategy focused entirely on high quality. The vineyards feature diverse soils including limestone, sand, and marl, located directly facing the Mediterranean Sea. White wines are produced from varieties such as Bourboulenc, Clairette, Marsanne, Roussanne, and Vermentino, while the reds rely predominantly on Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cinsault. Viticulture is conducted with respect for the environment, complemented by manual harvesting in small crates to ensure optimal grape condition.
