About the estate
The Domaine Sarrat de Goundy estate is located in the Languedoc region and belongs to the AOC La Clape denomination. After returning from abroad in 2003, the winemaker dedicated himself to vinification and transitioned the estate to environmentally conscious cultivation. The vineyards thrive on the island-like terroir of La Clape, characterized by a Mediterranean climate with intense sun and coastal winds. The grape portfolio includes varieties such as Syrah, Grenache Noir, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Vermentino, and Roussanne. These grapes are crafted into expressive Mediterranean wines that combine balance and finesse.
