Champs du Lievre

About the estate

The Champs du Lièvre estate manages a vineyard area of 3.5 hectares in the south of France at the foot of the Black Mountain. The winery was founded in 2012 by the French-American Nicolle and her Italian husband Duccio. The vineyards, ranging from twenty to over seventy years old, are located in the Cru La Livinière region of the Languedoc. The cultivated grape varieties include Syrah, Grenache noir, and Carignan on soils composed of compact clay-limestone and sandstone marl. Farming is one hundred percent organic with manual harvesting and parcel-by-parcel vinification housed in an 18th-century stone building.
