About the estate

The traditional Swiss winery Cave & Distillerie de la Ruelle is located in the historic center of Auvernier within the Three-Lakes region and has been run by four generations since 1910. The estate cultivates vineyards exclusively within the municipality of Auvernier, with yields strictly limited and quality-controlled under the AOC Neuchâteloise designation. In accordance with Bio Suisse Bourgeon standards, the naturally covered vineyards are farmed organically to preserve environmental diversity. In addition to viticulture, the family business specializes in wine production, bottling, and operating a historic in-house distillery. The portfolio includes regional wines as well as traditional spirits and brandies produced on-site.
