About the estate

The Saxer AG estate, rooted in Nussbaumen since 1676, is managed by the siblings Jimmy, Sonja, and Urs Saxer. In 1974, Alfred and Verena Saxer laid the foundation for the current winery with the construction of a new operating building and modern winemaking facilities. The vineyards in Eastern Switzerland yield regional varieties such as Pinot Noir and Müller-Thurgau, alongside Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Solaris, and Grüner Veltliner. Vineyard management relies on careful manual labor and yield reduction, while cellar practices focus on minimal intervention and gentle vinification. Distribution takes place directly through the estate's cellar shop and online store.

The eno directory lists 32 wines, mostly from Merlot and Grüner Veltliner.
