About the estate
The Weingut Heidegg estate in Gelfingen cultivates eight hectares of vineyards according to strict ecological guidelines and in harmony with nature. Led by Peter and Lars Schuler, the team grows around 20 different grape varieties at the foot of the castle. Every single grape is harvested by hand and vinified directly on site. The portfolio includes single-varietal wines as well as cuvées, assemblages, specialties, and barrique, sweet, and sparkling wines. The wines carry the AOC Lucerne origin designation.
The eno directory lists 37 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Merlot.
