About the estate
The Hausammann estate is managed in the second generation as a family business in Uesslingen in German-speaking Switzerland and covers a vineyard area of 6.5 hectares. The sun-drenched south to southwest-facing slopes at Iselisberg with deep moraine soils provide ideal conditions for winegrowing with in-house pressing. Main grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Müller-Thurgau and Gewürztraminer are cultivated on soils rich in loam, clay and sand. The portfolio is complemented by additional grape varieties as well as specialties such as sparkling wine, ice wine and spirits.
