About the estate

The Michael Broger Weinbau winery was established in 2003 by Michael Broger on the Ottenberg in Switzerland. The vineyards are dedicated to traditional grape varieties such as Pinot Noir and Müller-Thurgau, alongside smaller quantities of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Garanoir. The estate operates according to natural and biodynamic principles utilizing organic plant protection while intentionally omitting official certification. In the cellar, vinification follows a minimalist approach where red wines and a portion of white wines are fermented with wild yeasts and bottled unfiltered. The portfolio features single-varietal wines as well as sulfur-free creations including Pétillant Naturel and amphora-aged wines.
