About the estate

The Swiss quality winery Nachtwaechter-Ermatingen has its roots in Ermatingen on the Lower Lake Constance and looks back on a history dating back to 1939. Until 2021, the estate was managed by the Hans Ribi family before the Felix and Birgit Steckeler family took it over to continue the tradition. The owner comes from a multi-generational winemaking family and relies on meticulous manual labor, permanent vine care, and rigorous yield reduction. The grapes are vinified at the Saxer winery in Nussbaumen, and production is carried out according to the guidelines of the controlled designation of origin AOC Thurgau.
