About the estate

The Viticcio estate currently cultivates a vineyard area of 120 hectares in Chianti Classico and the Maremma, which evolved from an initial property of about 60 hectares. The production features the principal grape variety Sangiovese alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Foglia Tonda, Syrah, and Vermentino. The winery combines traditional techniques, modern technologies, and environmental respect throughout every stage of production. All wines produced by the estate are organic and sustainable. Harvesting is conducted manually with a double selection in the vineyard and additional sorting in the cellar, followed by aging in French oak barrels and tonneaux.
