About the estate
Tenuta Torciano is a historic Tuscan wine estate located in Ulignano near San Gimignano, founded in 1720 by Bartolomeo Giachi. The property has remained in the family for thirteen generations and is currently managed by Pierluigi Giachi and Luciana Cilemmi. Production extends across several traditional wine-growing areas in the region, including San Gimignano, Chianti Classico, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Scansano, and Bolgheri. The portfolio features renowned Tuscan denominations with a strong focus on Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Sangiovese-based red wines such as Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti. A major share of distribution is oriented towards export, with the North American market playing a central role.
