About the estate
The Ferrari Iris & Figli estate was founded in 1976 by Penso Camerini and his wife Iris Ferrari in the municipalities of Cecina and Bibbona, where the first vineyards were planted. Over the years, the estate expanded to include the vineyards of Fattoria S.Perpetua in Montescudaio and, starting in 2006, parcels within the Bolgheri denomination. Alongside traditional varieties such as Sangiovese and Trebbiano, the family-run winery also cultivates Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Vermentino. For the production and ageing of its wines, the company operates two cellars located in Cecina and Bolgheri, with the main facility in Cecina featuring an underground cellar dedicated to ageing in barriques and oak barrels.
The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese.
