About the estate

The Vinariam winery in Jerez de la Frontera looks back on a long family history, with the first reference to the ownership of the Viña El Carmen vineyard dating back to 1898 before it was reacquired by the Mateos family in 2018. The estate cultivates its own vineyards and ages the wines directly alongside the vines in a century-old cellar housing over 300 American oak casks. Traditional maturation takes place in the classic solera and criadera system without sales pressure to ensure the quality and continuity of the wines. The portfolio features wines from the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda denominations, crafted according to the family's traditions and tastes.
