About the estate
The Bodega Diez Merito estate in Jerez de la Frontera looks back on a long history that began in 1876. The company emerged from the union of traditional houses and preserves historic buildings such as the Bertemati cellar dating from 1790. In the traditional cellars, wines and brandies mature using the classic criaderas and soleras system. The portfolio includes traditional sherry specialties and wines from the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda denominations. Since 2016, the winery has been managed by the Espinosa family, who continue the heritage of this traditional winery.
