About the estate
The family-run Mascaró estate has been dedicated to the artisanal production of cava and spirits in Vilafranca del Penedès since 1946. Now managed by the third generation, the winery relies on organic vineyards and careful hand-harvesting of the grapes. For cava production, whole grapes are pressed, followed by a traditional second fermentation and extended bottle aging. In addition, the estate operates its own distillery where local wines undergo double distillation before maturing in French oak casks. The entire production process is characterized by traditional craftsmanship, minimal intervention, and the distinct influence of the regional terroir.
