About the estate
The Alsina & Sardà estate has its origins in viticulture dating back to 1862 at the Cal Janes property in El Pla del Penedès. In 1982, the family began producing their own bottles of wine and cava in a small family cellar located in Subirats. The winery oversees the entire process from their vineyards to the final bottled product. Their wines and sparkling wines fall under the Cava DO, Cava – Comtats de Barcelona, and Penedès DO designations.
