About the estate
The Cavas Hill winery in Moja was founded in 1887 and is one of the oldest estates in the D.O. Cava. The historic buildings on the estate feature modernist architecture closely linked to the legacy of Antoni Gaudí. Organic vineyards of the traditional varieties Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada thrive on limestone soils in the Alt Penedès. Harvesting is done by hand, followed by traditional bottle fermentation and extended aging on the lees in the underground cellars. The portfolio comprises organic cavas in young, Reserva, and Gran Reserva styles.
