About the estate

The Le Ginestre S.S. Az.Agr. estate is located in Grinzane Cavour in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, where the production of Barolo is deeply rooted in the history of the region. At an altitude of 250 meters above sea level, the south-facing vineyard features an alluvial soil composition of typical Sant’Agata Fossil Marls with a clayey-calcareous loam structure. Organic fertilizers are used exclusively for vineyard fertilization, while natural copper- and sulfur-based products are applied to prevent grapevine diseases. Production is regulated through manual cluster thinning to promote perfect ripening, yielding the Barolo Le Ginestre exclusively in exceptional vintages.
