About the estate

The Produttori del Barbaresco S.A.C. winery was founded in 1958 by the young parish priest Don Fiorino Marengo and nineteen farmers in Barbaresco, Piedmont, with the aim of emancipating local growers from poverty. Today, more than fifty families cultivate a vineyard area of 120 hectares, generating an annual production of around 650,000 bottles. The portfolio features denominations such as Barbaresco DOCG, Barolo DOCG, Dogliani DOCG, Langhe DOC, and Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC. Farming and winemaking rely on the strict unity of the members and an exclusive focus on the Nebbiolo grape. Starting in the 1990s, the estate successfully expanded into international markets including the USA, Japan, Scandinavia, and the United Kingdom.
