About the estate

The La Maison de Rose winery located in Saint Lothain in the Jura region looks back on a long family tradition dating back to the 17th century, which was further developed in the late 1940s by René Grand. Today, the estate is run by Dominique and Désiré Grand, who cultivate the three hectares of vineyards. Since 2008, the estate has been engaged in organic farming with a special focus on soil management and the use of natural products for plant protection. Harvesting is done by hand, and the juices undergo natural fermentation and aging on the lees in oak barrels. This approach creates wines without oenological additives that preserve the imprint of their original plot terroir.
