Fongoli

About the estate

The Fongoli estate manages an area of approximately 35 hectares in Umbria, consisting of a single body comprising vineyards, forest, arable land, olive groves, and truffle grounds. The history of the property dates back to 1900, drawing on a nearly centennial winemaking tradition. Farming is conducted entirely according to biodynamic methods with a strong focus on environmental care, cover cropping, and biodiversity. In the cellar, only estate-grown grapes are processed, with spontaneous fermentation carried out without added sulfites. Aging for the red wines takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels, while filtration and clarification are avoided.
