About the estate

The history of the Cantine Briziarelli estate in Umbria began in the early twentieth century when entrepreneur Pio Briziarelli invested in local agriculture. In the year 2000, the family expanded their activities to the Montefalco area, thereby establishing the current wine project. The estate currently comprises 22 hectares of vineyards, with vinification taking place in a modern cellar built in 2012. The portfolio includes the Montefalco Rosso DOC, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, and Toscana IGT denominations. Since 2021, under new administration, the winery has pursued a style focused on elegance and approachability.
