Domaine Pierre Richard

About the estate

The Domaine Pierre Richard estate is located in Le Vernois in the French Jura region and is run by Vincent, Emmanuelle and Pierre. Vineyard management relies on manual harvesting, rigorous grape selection, cover cropping and avoiding harsh handling of the fruit. In the cellar, traditional vinification, native yeasts and the production of distinctive white wines and single-varietal red wines are prioritized. Since July 2018, the estate has been undergoing conversion to organic farming under the control of ECOCERT. The portfolio includes a range of traditional regional wines and specialties from the Jura.
