About the estate
The Domaine la Toupie estate was founded in 2012 in Maury in the south of France, located in the heart of the Catalan region. Led by agricultural engineer and winemaker Jérôme Collas, the estate cultivates twelve hectares of vineyards on schist and rolled pebble soils in the Fenouillèdes. The vineyards feature traditional grape varieties such as Grenache, Carignan, and Macabeu, alongside Syrah and Mourvèdre, with some vines exceeding fifty years of age. Work in the vineyards relies heavily on manual labour and low yields, followed by plot-by-plot vinification in small containers in the cellar. The portfolio includes wines from the Côtes du Roussillon Villages and Maury appellations.
The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Macabeo and Grenache.
