About the estate

The Domaine de Villeclare estate is located in the Pyrénées-Orientales region within Roussillon and has been cultivated by the Jonquères d’Oriola family for three generations, with a viticultural history spanning over 150 years. The vineyards cover 30 hectares of clay-schist terroirs on the foothills of the Albères, benefiting from a sunny climate moderated by the nearby sea. Operating under organic farming methods, the property features traditional architecture including a 12th-century castle alongside orchards. The estate produces wines under the AOC Côtes du Roussillon and IGP Côtes Catalanes denominations from a diverse range of grape varieties.
