Domaine Gayrard

About the estate

The Domaine Gayrard estate is situated near Cordes sur Ciel on the northern edge of the Gaillac wine region upon a limestone plateau. The history of the property dates back nearly five centuries before Pierre Fabre took over the family estate in 2013, since adopting organic and biodynamic practices. Across twelve hectares of vineyards, native grape varieties such as Duras, Braucol, and Loin de l'œil are cultivated. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with indigenous yeasts to produce distinctive wines that reflect the terroir of Gaillac.
