Domaine des Tourels

About the estate

The Domaine des Tourels estate is located in Tourouzelle in Languedoc-Roussillon and has been run by the Sabatier family since its foundation in 1885. Today, the fifth generation manages 30 hectares of vineyards spread across 25 parcels. The vineyards are subject to the Mediterranean climate and grow on diverse soils ranging from eroded sandstones to stony terraces. Cultivated varieties include traditional grapes such as Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah, alongside various white and red varieties for wines under the AOC Minervois and IGP Pays d’Oc denominations. The winery focuses on environmentally conscious cultivation methods involving soil tillage and careful canopy management.
