About the estate
The Domaine de Brousse estate was founded in 1921 by Florian Boissel in Cahuzac sur Vere in southwestern France and has since been passed down through generations of winemakers. Today, the winery cultivates ten hectares of vineyards on the clay-limestone soils of the first slopes of the Cordais plateau under the AOC Gaillac and Côtes du Tarn IGP denominations. The approach in both the vineyard and the cellar emphasizes minimal intervention, including hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and limited use of sulfur and filtration. The estate produces distinctive, site-driven wines with a strong personality. Distribution serves trade partners, importers, and wine merchants worldwide.
