The Domaine Catherine de Montgolfier estate is located in the Occitanie wine region in the heart of La Clape, producing wines within the AOC La Clape and AOC Languedoc denominations. The property was acquired by Christophe Chamouleau de Montgolfier and his brothers as a passionate family project, building upon the long-standing winemaking traditions of their families rooted in the Charentes and Ardèche regions. Named in tribute to Catherine de Montgolfier, the winery combines traditional vineyard cultivation with an innovative maturation process conducted entirely in Oeufs de Beaune concrete vessels. In addition to wine production, the estate features an art center and offers guided tours that showcase the unique aging cellar and the family history.
