About the estate
Founded in 2008 when Florent Granier took over, the Clos Sorian estate is located in Saussan within the Languedoc region between Montpellier and the Étang de Thau. Across ten hectares of vineyards featuring clay-limestone, sandy terraces, and rolled pebbles, the family-run winery cultivates grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, and Merlot. The vines are between 30 and 40 years old and are cultivated with low yields under organic farming practices established for the 2020 vintage. The production includes wines from several designations such as AOC Languedoc, Grès de Montpellier, Collines de la Moure, and Pays d’Oc, which also feature extended aging periods. Distribution is focused on the traditional market through wine merchants, restaurants, and their own tasting cellar.
The estate sells to horeca and retail.
