About the estate

The Chateau le Tap estate is situated in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre and produces white, red, and sweet wines. Its name originates from Napoleonic land registers that called the property Tas de Pierre due to its white stone construction. Mireille and Olivier Roches come from a family of winemakers and run the estate as independent winegrowers. All production steps, from vineyard cultivation to bottling, are carried out entirely on the property. The estate has practiced organic farming since 2007 without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers in order to respect the balance of the terroir.
