About the estate
The Chateau la Brie estate is located in Monbazillac and looks back on a historical connection to the Eyma family as well as early trade relations with Holland. In 1962, the property was acquired by local authorities and municipalities to establish an agricultural vocational school. Today, the vineyard covers 30.11 hectares distributed across two different locations. The cultivated grape varieties include Sauvignon blanc, Sémillon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec, among others. The estate produces various wines under the Bergerac and Monbazillac appellations in a purpose-built educational winery.
