Chateau de Rhodes

About the estate

The Château de Rhodes estate is situated on the first slopes of the ancient wine-growing region in Gaillac and is operated by the Lépine family. Covering approximately thirty hectares of vineyards with a south-southwesterly exposure, the vines largely range from twenty to sixty years of age. Organic farming methods have been applied since 2008 for red varieties and since 2010 for white varieties. Vinification is conducted traditionally in food-grade coated concrete vats using indigenous yeasts. Bottled wines are subsequently aged in an exceptional underground vaulted cellar.
