About the estate
The Château de Fauzan estate was founded in 1956 by Albert Bourrel and has since been managed by the Bourrel family. The vineyards cover 50 hectares in a semi-mountainous region within Minervois on clay-limestone soils at an altitude of 350 metres. The cultivated grape varieties include Syrah, Carignan, Chardonnay, Cinsault, Grenache, and Pinot Noir. Harvesting is carried out both manually and mechanically to produce wines under the AOC La Livinière, AOC Minervois, and IGP Pays d'Oc denominations.
