About the estate

The Azienda Agricola La Colombiera estate is located in Castelnuovo Magra in Liguria, near the border with Tuscany within the Colli di Luni DOC denomination. Founded in the 1970s by Francesco Ferro, the winery is now run by the family across generations. The vineyards are situated in hilly coastal areas at altitudes ranging from 100 to 250 meters above sea level on hard, stony soils. The vines are trained using the Guyot system, with a focus on the main grape varieties Vermentino and Sangiovese. In both vineyard management and winemaking, the estate combines traditional heritage with modern techniques to produce authentic wines characterized by a notable minerality.
