Durin

About the estate

The Durin estate is located in Ortovero, Liguria, with roots dating back to the late 19th century when Isidoro Basso began cultivating land in the Valle Arroscia. In the 1920s, his son Angelo planted the first vines and shaped the family agricultural activity for decades. Antonio Basso eventually took over as part of the third generation and named the winery Durin in the late 1970s as a tribute to his grandfather. Today, Antonio runs the estate together with his wife Laura and their children Giovanni, Giacomo, and Angelica. The production includes a broad portfolio of regional wines and sparkling wines crafted within this tradition-bound family business.
